'Funeral Singers' is definitely one of my favorite records of 2009, and I think if it's not on top of a lot of best of lists at the moment, people will look back and see that it really should have been. I also hope that the two albums Vic Chesnutt released this year will be appreciated...and not because of his passing, but because they are truly great works of art.
